About Us

We are everyday people from a small town with a long line of hard working, quality driven individuals.  My grandfather Earl Murray began learning the trades growing up from his father and went into a home improvement partnership with a friend after serving 5 years in the Air force.  Eventually he struck out on his own on at the age of 29. Murray’s Roofing and Siding, Inc. officially began August 8, 1958.

As my dad Gary grew up he learned roofing, siding, construction, and a whole host of other things from an early age.  After grandpa worked many years on his own my father Gary Murray joined him in 1973 to work and help run the business.

In 1991 Earl retired and my dad ran the business himself.  I, Reed Murray, started working with him officially when I was 14 (it turns out child labor laws don’t apply if you are family, thanks government!)  Ok all kidding aside, I was really lucky to be included in the family business and I learned so much at a young age and got a huge head start on learning the industry and doing things the right way.  I joined with an official partnership with my dad Gary in 2010.

We have a strong foundation, and over the years have weathered many storms, but continue to thrive and succeed where others fail.  Part of that is because we are resilient and hard working, but most of it is our loyal customers that continue to refer us over the years.  Quality never goes out of style and we do our work with that in mind, we have never been the cheapest but we will always be your best and most reliable choice.
